Annual Cadet Review – June 13th, 2023

Annual Ceremonial Review of the
581 Castlegar Air Cadet Squadron

When: Tuesday, June 13th, 2023 at
1830hrs (6:30pm)

**Parade begins @ 1830hrs, the doors open at 1800, plan to arrive and be seated no later than 1815.

Where: the Royal Castlegar Legion Branch #170
248 Columbia Ave, Castlegar BC

Our cadets, aged 12 to 18 years old, will participate in an inspection, live displays and static displays, where there will be an opportunity for guests to see what training these future leaders have been participating in. Please share this event with your networks, as it is open to the public, and is an excellent opportunity to promote a great program for young people in our communities.

This is the notice of AGM for the Castlegar 581 Sponsoring Committee.

We will be presenting the budget and reports, and electing board members for the coming year. Any member of the community may serve on the board, the only requirement is that the board member go through the standard volunteer screening process.

This year the AGM will be held online, via Zoom. A link to the meeting will be posted to the group Facebook page and this page 30 minutes before the meeting.

Christmas Dinner Invitation & RSVP

On December 15th, 2019, the Cadets will be gathering for our annual Christmas Dinner at the Castlegar Legion.  This year, we are having the dinner catered so everyone will be able to enjoy themselves.  The cost will be covered for all Cadets, Officers and Instructors by the sponsoring committee.

Bottle Drop – May 25, 2019

Castlegar Air Cadets are hosting a Bottle Drop this Saturday. Bring your refundable bottles and cans and drop them off at the Cadet Hall. The money raised will go towards supporting local Cadets activities. All donations are greatly appreciated. Come support a great organization!
Time: 10am to 2pm

Joint Annual Ceremonial Review of the West Kootenay Sea
and Air Cadet Units

When: Saturday, June 1st, 2019 at
1400hrs (2pm)

**Parade begins @ 1400hrs, please be seated no later than 1345hrs (1:45pm)

Where: Castlegar and District Recreation Center Arena
2101 6 Ave, Castlegar BC

Up to 100 cadets, aged 12 to 18 years old, will participate in an inspection and march past, live displays and static displays, where there will be an opportunity for guests to see what training these future leaders have been participating in.
